Evaluate new technical concepts for feasibility, product competition, patentability, cost and market requirements. The concepts can be at the early feasibility stage where a detailed task plan or even a feasibility assessment should be done. More advanced projects may benefit from a fresh review and assessment including strategies to identify major hurdles and then work with the client engineering staff to develop plans to quickly assess whether these hurdles can be overcome.

Provide a broad range of services in the area of intellectual property (IP) including prior art analysis, preparation of invention disclosure, provide an interface between engineering staff and IP attorneys and develop international patenting strategies based on marketing plans and product details. NSIT Technologies has provided services where commercial products are deconstructed and the patent estate surrounding that product technically assessed.

Work with your technical team to accelerate projects by identifying primary technical hurdles and then developing a test or demonstration program to identify pathways to surmount these hurdles. Strategies could include computer modeling, “quick and dirty” low cost experimental demonstration programs or incorporation of existing technologies that can be used with minimal development or modification.

NSIT Technologies Completes Major Program in Energy Storage

NSIT Technologies took a very early stage concept for energy storage and further developed the concept. Work included a thermodynamic analysis of the process, modeling of the energy flows in the process, a review of materials requirements and identification of areas where substantial development work is needed. The concept was also expanded into other application areas using several concepts developed by NSIT Technologies.
